February is Fun

 

I can't say things are so exciting around here that I'm forced to write them down in a blog, but I can say I need to write things down so I can remember everything exciting one day!

The weather is finally getting nicer so we've been spending lots of time outside. Dubby is an outside kid. He LOVES sunshine. He gets fussy inside, but once you are outside he gets very happy! We've been force feeding him all kinds of solids... he loves green beans and bananas and isn't too fond of peas or butternut squash. He lunges at his food out of excitement. He's Chubby Dubby right now! At night before and after his bath he rolls around naked in his room playing with his toys. He has the best time! I've always dressed him really nice because it's fun to me, but now that he is more mobile and loves to play I dress him more comfy at home! Hey, in public he can be GQ and at home he can just be! He's a lot of fun right now and laughs at us a lot.

I've been taking him to story time at the library. I was scared to step out of my comfort zone, but it's been a lot of fun. I even got a library card!!! It seems like he is huge compared to some of the little girls there! Everyone is very kind and it's just a good little time!

The Superbowl is usually a day of food and socialization at someone's house. We've even hosted a few Superbowl bashes in our day. But, this year since Nick was not working at the actual Bowl he wanted to just sit and stare at his own TV! He grilled out and I made a few goodies inside. We actually had a really fun time. Nick got to share it with Dubs both in their Cowboys gear... which maybe I should note for when I read this at age 90 we had a HORRIBLE year on the field!
